ONLINE/DISTANCE LEARNING

 Online Learning

Earn a credit online in 6 weeks
Through the online delivery model, students have the flexibility to set their own study schedule to better enable them to balance work, home and school responsibilities.  Online courses are offered throughout the school year with new courses beginning every six weeks.  Students have 6 weeks to complete the credit. Please refer to our Online Course Offerings for detailed term and course information.

System Requirements
There are a minimum desktop requirement for all online courses. These requirement are listed in the Proposed Desktop Guidelines for E-Learning.  Student who do not have access to a computer at home may use the computers at any of our Loyola locations during regular business hours.

On-Line Orientation
Each term an Orientation course is offered at every Loyola location. Orientation courses are designed to teach new e-learning students how to use our online system.  It typically takes 2-4 hours to complete.  Students who are unable to attend a Loyola location can complete the orientation course from their home computer as well.

Exams
Final exams are proctored at each Loyola campus (Kingston, Belleville, Trenton and Picton) free-of-charge.  Students who live outside of driving distance to a Loyola campus must contact the Loyola head office in Napanee at (613) 354-5093 or toll free, 1-888-485-0430 to make arrangements for writing a proctored exams at their location.

 Distance Learning

Loyola offers a limited number of correspondence courses.  Students work independently on course work and submit lessons for evaluation.  For further information on course offerings please contact one of the Loyola locations.
