Personal Support Worker Program (PSW)
Become a certified Personal Support Worker, earn secondary school credits, and gain quality employment in the health care field.

Benefits:
• Teacher-led instruction by Registered Nurses
• 10 month program Monday to Friday, September to June
• Supervised clinical placements

Choose from:
• Personal Support Worker (PSW) (6 credits)
• Pre Health and Science Program (up to 6 credits)
• PSW plus Pre Health and Science Program (up to 9 credits)
• Health Care Aide Upgrade to PSW (up to 5 credits)

Achieve:
• PSW Certification plus six Ontario Secondary School credits
• Ontario Long Term Care Association Pin
• Personal Support Worker Certification
• First Aid & CPR Certifications
• WHMIS Training, Safe Food Handling Certifications
• Successful graduates are registered with the Ontario Long Term Care Association (OLTCA)

Employment Possibilities:
95% of students are employed before the program is completed

• Group and Residential Homes
• Retirement Homes
• Hospitals
