Greetings From Loyola Trenton!
As department head, it is my pleasure to welcome back all returning adult students to Loyola Trenton. With the opening of our new site, in October of 2009, we have been able to better serve our students as well as the Quinte West community. Conveniently located at 91 Creswell Drive, close to the downtown core, we have a facility equipped with a Personal Support Worker lab, a computer lab, and a regular classroom.
Staff and students have worked very hard to create a site that is an effective working community. Students depend on each other for motivation, inspiration, and contributing to the community needs. We are actively involved in parades, fund raising, and student appreciation events throughout the school year.
One of our goals is to prepare students for the world of work. With the "Jumpstart to Employment" and the "Return, Earn, and Learn" programs, adults who are working or looking to increase their training and certifications for work, have an opportunity for success. I encourage you to stop by out site in the afternoons and ask our knowledgeable staff for a tour and to discuss what program works for you!
Sincerely,
Michael Zaffino Department Head, Trenton Campus
